South Phoenix pulled at the teenage Romesburg. He was in a gang, involved “in activities of which I am not proud.”

Much was going on late last week.
Thursday afternoon, Mayor Alvin Brown’s team heaved a Hail Mary pass that fell incomplete well short of the end zone.
During a special City Council meeting called to put an end to the courthouse furniture flap, Brown’s chief of staff, Chris Hand, took one last fling at trying to convince the council to finish furnishing the new courthouse with used furniture the city already owns.
